Plan and coordinate duties for Packaging staff, providing direction and support to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to best practices, safety protocols, and company policies.
Provide training, performance feedback, and support to foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
Operate, maintain, and monitor packaging equipment and systems, ensuring routine maintenance is scheduled around packaging runs
Track all packaging activities and work with inventory to manage inventory levels, including input materials, finished products, and packaging supplies.
Complete accurate documentation and records for all completed tasks to Quality Assurance.
Prepare logs, production metrics, batch records, and status updates.
Use compliance software for data input and tracking.
Continuously evaluate and improve production workflows to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize performance.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions or hazards to supervisors or Health & Safety representatives.

Job Requirements:
Previous work experience with packaging in the Canadian cannabis industry is required.
3+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role.
Post-Secondary Education in a relevant discipline is an asset - not required.
Strong working knowledge of GPP, SOPs, and documentation requirements under the Cannabis Regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and experience with industry-specific batch management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret and write technical documentation.
Demonstrated supervisory/leadership experience with the ability to coach and motivate employees.
