Our operations team is growing, we are looking for a packaging equipment technician/operator to join the team and improve efficiencies. The packaging equipment technician/operator will be responsible for operating packaging equipment with tray-thermoforming, coding and carton labeling modules. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience with packaging equipment in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environments with medium-high output is required. Responsibilities

• Set up and operation of packaging equipment with on-board robotics
• Label and assemble all Prollenium products, following strict procedures for quality, accuracy and safety
• Ensuring proper lot number and expiry date of product to satisfy customer order
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment on the Marchesini packaging line
• Provide necessary documentation and data to the Packaging Supervisor/Manager
• Inspect the quality of the packaged products prior to passing the documentation to the Quality department
• Comply with ISO 13485 standards and GMP
• Receipt and inspection of supplies for assembly of all Prollenium products and maintain inventory of components during production
• Accurately complete the Manufacturing Batch Production SOPs as per GMP procedures
• Perform other duties as required

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of, and experience with, packaging equipment in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environments with medium-high output is required
• Proven knowledge of, and experience with packaging automation and robotics
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Ability to work and communicate with others professionally and effectively, in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of, and experience with GMP and ISO
• Physically able and willing to repeatedly lift up to 30 lbs

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience with packaging equipment in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environments with medium-high output
• 2+ years medium -high speed equipment automation and robotics setup and maintenance
• 2+ years experience in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical production environment
