Tasks

Clean, sanitize and dry aquaculture equipment before the next use to prevent the introduction of pathogens and disease Maintain aquaculture equipment Operate aquaculture equipment Report stock irregularities to supervisors Write daily basic progress reports Cull, mark or tag aquaculture stocks Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures Dig shellfish from shellfish beds Clean, sort and pack shellfish Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
