Job Title: OYSTER FARM HANDLocation: Cavendish (transportation from Charlottetown available)Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour (40-60 hours per week)Schedule: Monday -FridayPosition Type: Full Time Seasonal (may lead to year-round employment)Benefits: Medical, Dental, Ground Insurance, RRSP (year-round employees)Retention Bonus: May be eligible for a bonus up to $1000Transportation from Charlottetown available!POSITION DESCRIPTION Raspberry Point Oysters is looking to hire for the Entry level Seasonal OYSTER FARM HAND labor position. Responsible for assisting with general farm operations including, but not limited to the maintenance and harvest of the company's oyster stock. Grading and packing oysters. Perform general cleaning duties and assist with various projects as needed while working in a team environment.Working Conditions__________________________________________________
- Working outdoors in all seasons including inclement weather
- Working in both the farm and boat setting across multiple locations
- Working around heavy equipment
- Wet and/or humid conditions
- Moderate noise level
- Must be physically able to lift and handle up to 50lbs pounds
