Job Description

We are looking for reliable and experienced Owner Operators with 3- and 5-ton trucks equipped with power tailgates to join our team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service, while ensuring goods are transported efficiently and on time. Commission based pay based on load.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license (appropriate class for vehicle) and clean drivers abstract. Own a well-maintained 3- or 5-ton truck equipped with a power tailgate. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and transportation safety regulations. Ability to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate your truck to transport freight safely and efficiently to designated locations. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is properly handled, secured, and protected during transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records. Communicate clearly and promptly with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding schedules, updates, and any issues that may arise. Provide professional, customer-focused service, including white glove delivery where required. Comply with all local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations. Delivering products in a timely manner and in proper condition to customers Ability to work and drive in all weather conditions.
