Job Description
Delta warehouse is hiring order pickers and 3-ton and 5-ton truck drivers.
Order Pickers: Must be able to operate a forklift, lift boxes weighing approximately 25-40 lbs, and understand basic English. The work schedule is 5 days a week, starting at 9 AM and finishing around 5 or 6 PM (depending on the orders of the day)?$18/hour.
Truck Drivers?$19/hour? Must be familiar with the Greater Vancouver area, hold a Class 5 driver's license, and be able to deliver goods to major supermarkets?
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.Duties
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform routine checks on the vehicle before and after each trip
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate driving logs and reports
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or relevant position
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- Capable of heavy lifting
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures
- Proficient in moving and securing cargo
