Job Description

We are looking for a friendly face to join our Front Desk team! This is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge of, and grow within, the hospitality industry. Rate:$16.00/hour Hours: We are looking for a part-time member to join our team, for 16-24 hours a week with 8 hour shifts. Shifts: Must be available for overnight shifts. Full availability for weekdays, weekends, and holidays is preferred. Afternoon availability is an asset. Experience/Skills:

• Previous hotel experience is preferred, with knowledge of OnQ being an asset.
• Hospitality or Tourism diploma is an asset.
• Valid Class 4 license is an asset, due to the hotel shuttle service. (Extra hours as shuttle driver are available.)
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, with good time management skills.
• Able to adapt to different situations, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and provide the best experience possible to our guests!

Duties:

• Welcome guests to the hotel!
• Create and modify reservations.
• Check guests in and out.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Complete nightly reports/paperwork.
• Assist with guest requests and questions.
• Resolve guest issues to the best of your ability.
• Ensure a professional and friendly manner at all times.
• Communicate efficiently with all other hotel departments.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the hotel and our services.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Maintain a cash float throughout your shift.
• Maintain a sanitary and tidy work station.
• Assist with sanitizing public/staff areas, as required.
• Assist with loading/unloading guest luggage.
• Transporting guests to and from Calgary International Airport, and local private hangars.
• Other duties may be required, and can be expanded on during the interview process.
