*SEASONAL position We are hoping to find someone who is seeking long-term, seasonal employment. Our privately-managed dog-friendly property is located *IN* Fundy National Park, near Alma, NB. It consists of 43 guest-units (24 chalets and 19 motel studios). Candidates should be available to work mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends, from May until September or October. Typical schedule is 5 days per week, 12pm-8:00pm. The Front Desk and Guest Services Agent must be trustworthy, reliable, and understand the art of diplomacy. They must be client-oriented, and work well with others, keeping open-communication with other members of our team, management and our clientele. If the successful candidate resides more than 70 km from our location, lodging may be available in one of our motel units, at a nominal rate. (quiet, no pets, no additional guests without owners\xe2\x80\x99 approval, no smoking indoors, or under covered areas.) The Front Desk & Guest Services Agent must assist motel and chalets\xe2\x80\x99 patrons and potential patrons by:

• Demonstrating a pleasant demeanour, professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Treating each one with respect, courtesy and discretion
• Offering information and suggestions about our area\xe2\x80\x99s attractions and activities (training and literature provided)
• Following company procedure, respecting its standards, without exception
• Answering calls and emails using company verbiage and templates
• Making and confirming reservations
• Registering and assigning rooms to guests
• Keeping record of occupied rooms and guests\' accounts
• Presenting statements to and collecting payments from guests
• Exchanging towels
• Tending to guest requests; sometimes helping within a guest unit (TV issue, or bring extra blankets, for example)
• Receiving and transmitting messages
• Safeguarding client and company information

When no laundry attendant is scheduled, as the laundry room is just below the office (one flight of stairs), the front desk attendant is also responsible for keeping laundry flowing, ensuring that loads are being put through, from washer to dryer., when time permits. It is possible that management offer different tasks, in other departments, including painting or other projects, when insufficient hours are available at the front desk in the shoulder season. SKILLS, EDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in English and French, written and spoken
• Good math skills, and critical thinking
• Must be solution and guest-oriented, striving for a high level of customer service (solving problems when they arise, keeping the company and clients\xe2\x80\x99 best interest in mind)
• Equivalent of a High School Education (minimum)
• Cash register experience an asset
• CPR & First Aid Training is considered an asset
• Experience and ease with computer systems (data entry, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Reception and hotel service experience an asset

• Ability to perform under pressure, to multitask in a fast-paced environment, completing tasks with consistent quality

• Enjoy working with people, on the phone (many calls!), in person, or via email
