Job Description
Since 1983, Gordon Crane & Hoist has provided dependable, top notch service to the lower mainland and beyond. We are currently looking to grow our operations and are seeking an Overhead Crane Technician to join our team in Vancouver, BC.
As a GCH Crane Technician based in the Lower Mainland, you will perform inspections, as well as troubleshoot problems and conduct repairs on overhead cranes and hoists at both our customer sites and at our Vancouver-based shop.

Be well versed in electrical repairs and troubleshooting
Have a strong mechanical aptitude
Have a Certificate of Qualification in a related trade (i.e electrician)
Possess a valid driver's license
Be diligent about filling out safety documents and service reports
Have a respect for safety & a safety-focused attitude
Be prepared to work at heights
Preference will be given to those with previous experience working on overhead cranes & hoists however we are also prepared to train the right candidate should they excel in the other areas we are looking for in a crane technician.
