Job Description
•Well established manufacturing leader requires Overhead Crane Specialist for steady days role. This is a full time permanent position with base salary and when required O/T eligible. Full responsibility over the three fundamental components of an overhead crane ? the bridge, hoist, and controls ? lays the groundwork for comprehending the complex machinery involved in material handling operations. Each component plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy loads and you will be responsible for their continuing and safe functioning.Provides technical support to manufacturing operations. Performs, schedules and coordinates all PM?s, inspections, repairs and upgrades to all cranes to reduce downtime, minimize costs, and contribute to increased production efficiencies. Ensures all crane safety systems are maintained and all operation, inspection, and maintenance records are kept current. Performs or assists with troubleshooting and emergency repairs as required to minimize downtime. Provides training to electricians, millwrights and operators or others to reduce downtime, minimize costs, and contribute to increased production efficiencies.•
