Job Description
Well established manufacturing leader requires Overhead Crane Specialist for steady days role. Responsible for the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repair, maintenance, troubleshooting etc. This is a full time permanent position with base salary and when required O/T eligible. Full responsibility over the three fundamental components of an overhead crane, the bridge, hoist, and controls. Provides technical support to manufacturing operations. Performs, schedules and coordinates all predictive and preventative maintenance, and through inspections, repairs and upgrades reduces downtime, minimize costs, and contribute to increased production efficiencies. Ensures all crane safety systems are maintained and all operation, inspection, and maintenance records are kept current. Performs or assists with troubleshooting and emergency repairs as required to minimize downtime. Provides training to electricians, millwrights and operators or others to reduce downtime, minimize costs, and contribute to increased production efficiencies.
