Summary

We are seeking a Technical Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Canada. This role is crucial in driving sales and fostering relationships with our clients, contributing significantly to our mission of providing top-quality flow control solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ongoing marketplace research to further develop sales strategy and objectives Find and follow major construction, expansion or retrofit projects (commercial and industrial) Cold calls & scheduled sales presentations to generate leads and promote brand Prepare comprehensive quotes (understanding application, specification, pricing & delivery requirements) Attend and participate in conferences and display at trade shows Build relationships with customers, suppliers and prospects
Measured Key Performance Indicators:

Achieve sales targets Convert prospects to engaged partners in business Manage customer satisfaction demonstrated by repeat business

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

7+ years of technical sales experience, calling on the construction industry with specific knowledge or background in HVAC, building products or industrial pipe, valves & fittings Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications and drawings Strong organizational and communication skills, above average mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems A valid driver's license and clean driving record Willingness for overnight travel
