As part of our ongoing expansion, we're seeking a motivated
Outside Sales Representative
with strong technical knowledge and a passion for building relationships in the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow customer accounts
within your assigned territory, maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors, distributors, and mechanical companies.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
across residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC sectors.
Promote and demonstrate products
, providing technical information and practical solutions to meet customer needs.
Introduce and launch new products
to the market while supporting marketing and promotional activities.
Collaborate with inside sales, operations, and purchasing teams
to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillment.
Track market trends and competitor activity
to support strategic planning and identify growth opportunities.
Attend trade shows, supplier events, and customer visits
to represent the company and expand market presence.
Qualifications
Minimum
3 years of sales experience
in HVAC, mechanical, or building-supply industries (outside sales experience strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of
HVAC systems, heat pumps, ventilation products, and installation accessories
.
Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships with contractors and key accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Highly self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Nova Scotia (occasional travel to other Atlantic provinces may be required).
