Outside Sales Representative
Job description
As our newest Outside Sales Representative, you will manage a thriving sales territory in the Cariboo/Okanagan, BC region, with responsibility for Ingersoll Rand's full line of compressed air products including reciprocating compressors, rotary screw compressors, air dryers and filtration, and various system accessories and services.
This is a full-time position with much of the scheduling being driven by you. You are responsible for managing existing customer accounts and developing new customer relationships. Effective time management, professional communication skills, and a pro-active attitude towards prospecting and appointment setting are keys to success in this position. You can expect to spend 4-5 days per week travelling to customer sites within your territory.
This job is a great match for people who enjoy lots of variety, problem-solving, and continuous learning and development. Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical aptitude and/or educational background. Previous air compressor and/or industrial equipment sales experience is an asset for this position, however we will train suitable candidates.
