TexTrail by Dexter Distribution Group, a subsidiary of the international DexKo Global Company, has over 30 distribution locations throughout the United States and Canada. POSITION SUMMARY The Outside Sales Representative in Brantford, Ontario is responsible for conducting sales by meeting existing and potential clients face-to-face. They source new clients, provide customer service, and meet sales quotas. The territory is not limited to Brantford and the sales representative needs to be away from home several days at a time. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing new business leads
  • Following up on leads and conducting research to identify potential prospects
  • Ensuring all communication with new or existing customers is logged into a CRM system
  • Preparing and analyzing data to build a sales pipeline
  • Offering professional, effective, and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
  • Handling customer concerns effectively
  • Providing guidance on price competitiveness
  • Participating in trade shows, training, or associated product meetings when necessary
  • Other related duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • 2-3 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to be away from home several days at a time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent client management, presentation, selling and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze sales data.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, have good judgment and a high sense of discretion.
  • Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and co-workers.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, be a self-starter and have the ability to work under tight time constraints.
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume environment would be considered an asset.
  • Experience selling retail products in the trailer parts industry or related industry.
  • Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment.
  • Essential autonomy, rigor and high attention to detail and work well done.
  • Problem solving skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Anticipate and identify customer needs.
