Job Description

Acosys consulting is looking to hire One (1) Organizational Design and Classification Consultant (Level 3) for a contract role with one of our federal clients.

Tasks/Deliverables:

• Review existing EX and non-EX positions and provide feedback and commentary to the clients; Identify need to create new EX and non-EX positions and/or to review existing non-EX positions;
• Develop and/or review job descriptions.
• Organizational Design related documents including change proposal reports, implementation plan, etc; o Treasury Board Submission proposals;
• EX and/or Non-EX standardized job descriptions (SJDs);
• EX and/or Non-EX classification rationales; o EX and/or non-EX internal and external relativity reports;
• EX and/or Non-EX classification committee reports; and
• On-site validation reports

Mandatory Requirements

• The proposed resource must have a valid accreditation in classification with recent experience (within the last five years) in classification (1- Ops, 4- Coaching); or
• The proposed resource must have 10+ years of significant experience in providing complex organizational design services to mid to large organizations (2- Org. Design) and/or job description (JD) writing services to government organizations. Verifying that the functionality of the application conforms to the business requirements and system design specifications.
• The consultant should have 10+ years of demonstrated experience in the following areas: - Writing and updating/editing non-EX job descriptions (JDs) including complex cases; and - Researching, interviewing clients, developing and implementing standardized job descriptions (non-EX)
• A relevant DEGREE from a University or recognized school.

Security Clearance:

A SECRET Security Clearance is Required.

Language of Work:

The work under this contract will be conducted in both official languages as required. The client will be responsible for translation if required.

Work Location:

Remote, the work will be conducted off site. It is anticipated that the some of the work will be performed at the suppliers\' facilities. However, there will be some requirements to work on site.
