Job Description

Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, NBM Railways is comprised of three short line railroads: NB Southern Railway, Eastern Maine Railway, and Maine Northern Railway. Together, they provide the most direct rail connections between Atlantic Canada and the northeastern United States. Through partnerships with other major railways, NBM Railways cargo is delivered to destinations across North America.

NBM Railways is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Order to Cash Representative at their Saint John, NB location. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to process improvement initiatives and an integral part of our business. If you are interested in a career in the Transportation industry, we are looking for your ambition and people first attitude!

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate invoicing discrepancies
• Work with key customer accounts on account reconciliations
• Reduce invoicing and billing errors by continuously driving improvement in process
• Troubleshooting customer payment delays
• Support administration functions
• Achieve business targets

Qualifications

• Post secondary education with at least 2 years work experience, or the equivalent in training and experience
• Demonstrated high attention to detail
• Can manage changing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Must be an independent self-starter
• Experience with E1 would be considered an asset
