Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye exams to evaluate vision and detect ocular conditions.
Diagnose, treat, and manage eye diseases.
Prescribe corrective lenses & recommend visual aids.
Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and eye health.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for integrated care.
Stay updated with the latest optometry advancements.
Provide exceptional patient service and support optical sales when needed.
Qualifications
Ontario Optometrist License
(required).
Strong knowledge of ocular disease management and optical products.
Experience with pediatric and senior care (an asset).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Attention to detail in patient documentation.
Schedule
Weekdays:
2 PM - 6 PM (flexible)
Weekends:
11 AM - 4 PM (open to discussion)
