Optometric Assistant/receptionist
Job Description
Midland Eyecare is a full scope optometric clinic and optical. We are growing and excited to add an enthusiastic individual with great communication skills and prior experience in optical sales to our team. Long term commitment is desired with potential growth into larger roles over time. The candidate must be available to work 3 weekdays and must be available to work on Saturdays.Job responsibilities: Administrative duties: scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, taking payments/processing insurance claims, etc. Pretesting patients, Visual Field, OCT or retinal imaging Teaching patients about contact lens wear including insertion and removal training Assisting patients with frame selection, and lens selection/recommendations Cleaning and disinfecting clinic/optical framesREQUIRED SKILLS

- 1 year of Optical Experience
Part-time hours: 25-40 per weekSalary: $16.50-$19.00 per hourBenefits:
