The Kennedy Eye Clinic is a new, modern and beautiful optometry clinic that offers comprehensive eye care AND we have an aesthetics division! We are looking for someone to work 3-4 days a week as an Optometric Assistant at our clinic and there is an option to work another 1-2 days a week at our sister clinic, The Eye Studio YXE, which will make up full time hours (or very close to it). Applications will ONLY be considered if you have reception experience AND you write a cover letter indicating why you'd be a good fit.What we need you to do: Check in patients, run through insurance, book appointments, answer phone calls and take payments Pre-test patients before they see the doctor Be able to troubleshoot independently as well as in a team settingQualifications: You MUST be outgoing and personable! You need to be able to help patients of all ages and of all backgrounds Have a positive attitude and mindset Organization and attention to detail is key so you must be able to multi-task Be professional yet enthusiastic Respond well to constructive criticismHours We are open Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday from 9-5:30, Thursdays from 9-8 and Saturdays from 9-3. We are closed every long weekend.
