This is your opportunity to join IndividualEyes, an established professional Optometry office in Bolton! IndividualEyes has a position available for the right person who is an optometric assistant. Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 We are looking for a bright, energetic, and kind individual who loves to help people. Someone who is a fast learner, self-directed, well-organized, and has good communication skills. Must present professional attitude and appearance. This person is detail oriented and will commit to the job summary listed below and is willing to work in both our clinical and optical departments.
Job Summary
\xc2\xb7 Ensure a positive patient experience throughout the exam.
\xc2\xb7 Conduct preliminary testing
\xc2\xb7 Assist the doctor during the exam by documenting, administering drops, etc.
\xc2\xb7 Assist patient in the optical department
\xc2\xb7 Collect payment and submit orders
\xc2\xb7 Assist with contact lens education
\xc2\xb7 Educate the patient in all areas related to their exam
\xc2\xb7 Opening and closing procedures and maintains testing instruments
\xc2\xb7 Looking for a motivated individual that is willing to help team in other areas during high volume times of the day that may include additional job responsibilities, verification of insurances, answer the phone, schedule appointments, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Dependable- more reliable than spontaneous
\xc2\xb7 People oriented \xe2\x80\x93 enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
Preferred Experience:
\xc2\xb7 At least one year prior optical experience preferred
\xc2\xb7 Experience in clinic and optical preferred, willingness to train and develop skill set
