Job Purpose: - The Administrative / Optometric Assistant - Responsible for providing administrative support for a busy Optometry Clinic as well as an exceptionally high level of customer service to our valued patients.

Key Responsibilities: Booking appointments, confirmations and recalls
Proof reading and updating patient profiles
Processing referrals, requests and other medical documents and forms
Processing insurance claims and other forms of payment
Responding to inquiries and providing information
Performing reception duties
Performing general clerical and office duties
Competencies: Attention to detail
Planning and prioritizing work
Patient focus
ability to stand for long periods
Training provided for the right candidate using the latest sophisticated equipment
