• Support development activities of new and existing product lines using analytical tools
• Develop optimization processes for accelerating design of high performance turbomachinery components
• Modeling of components and assemblies utilizing Siemens NX CAD
• Aerodynamic, structural, and thermal analysis of components and systems
• Support turbomachinery testing and data analysis
• Monitor and support university students working on internal Siemens Energy projects
• Actively contribute to small, focused design teams to support technology and product development project objectives

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering field (MS or Ph.D. preferred; Mechanical or Aerospace preferred)
• Mid-level to extensive experience / graduate degree in turbomachinery design and analysis
• Experience in analytical methods (CFD, FEM, heat transfer etc.) for engineering design
• Experience in optimization processes and machine learning methods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to explore new areas of technology relevant to engineering design
