We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled optical staff member to join our team at Foresight Eyecare. As an Eyewear Specialist, you will be at the forefront of helping our patients look and see their best. Your expertise and caring approach will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients leave with the perfect eyewear, enhancing their vision and confidence.

Responsibilities

:

Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records of inventory Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment Take accurate measurements for proper lens fit and adjustment of frames Verify and record prescription details, ensuring the accuracy of orders Keep the store clean and organized

Requirements:

Previous experience in retail management or retail sales is preferred Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of optical products, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, is a plus Familiarity with vision insurance plans and billing procedures is a bonus Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (Saturdays) Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills would be considered an asset Punjabi language skills would be considered an asset
