This role is focused on supporting senior team members through the preparation of meeting materials, tracking project timelines, supporting with administrative and project management tasks and contributing to the development of research materials, all in service of delivering exceptional results for our clients.
This junior-level role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in public opinion or market research who is eager to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative, and data-driven environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about research, thrives in a team-based environment, and brings a curiosity to learning and developing their career.
Coordinator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Client Service and Team Management
Support the design, programming, and execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews
Assist in drafting research instruments (e.g., surveys, discussion guides) and analyzing results
Clean, format, and analyze survey data using tools such as SPSS, Q, Excel, and online dashboards
Help create clear, visually engaging client reports and presentations based on research findings
Support senior team members (Principals and Senior Consultants) by managing calendars, setting up meetings, and preparing background materials as needed
Coordinate and schedule interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring smooth logistics and clear communication with participants
Conduct background research, literature reviews, and media scans to inform research design and client deliverables
Explore and support the integration of emerging research and AI tools to enhance data collection and analysis
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and especially Excel and PowerPoint is essential
Experience with one or more data analysis tools such as:
+ SPSS or Q Research Software
+ Survey programming platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Alchemer, etc.)
+ Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Familiarity with or interest in AI-assisted tools for survey design, transcription, or qualitative coding (e.g., ChatGPT, Otter.ai, NVivo, or similar)
Qualifications & Skills
1-2 years of relevant experience in public opinion, market research, social research, or a related field (internships/co-op placements count!)
Degree in political science, sociology, communications, marketing, data science, psychology, or related discipline
Demonstrated understanding of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
Confident in scheduling and coordinating meetings with senior stakeholders and external partners
Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear insights
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English; Fluency in written and spoken French preferred;
