Position Title: Operations Officer II (Bilingual French)
Location: Markham / Ontario
Training: could be on-site/ hybrid for 60 - 90 days
Language - Bi-lingual French
Duration: 1 year
Extension possible: Possible
Conversion Possible: Possible
Schedule: HYBRID - on-site 2-3 days per week. Mon- Fri 8:30am-PM
Overtime or weekends required: weekend no, possibly OT

% of back office work vs telephone: 80% back office , some MS Team calls with internal partners
Selling Points of Position: AMP commercial banking compliance experience and exposure, opening up bank accounts
SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing queues, sending out documents and checking documents to meet banking compliance standards, attend team meetings
The Business Signing Officer:
Opens new commercial deposit accounts
Processes account change requests for existing commercial deposit accounts (i.e. change in signing authority)
Opens additional accounts for existing customers via Letter Of Direction
Obtain/compile required supporting documentation
Follows AML, regulatory & legal compliance requirements
Job Requirements

Ensure Service Level Agreements are adhered to at all times
Ability to work efficiently to meet individual and team driven benchmarks
Be conscientious and detail oriented in order to mitigate any risk to the bank
Ability to review and understand complex legal documents

Must demonstrate the ability to be resourceful and proactive in their approach to Partner and Customer Problem Resolution

Customer service experience considered an asset
MUST HAVE:
**Bi-lingual speaking, read and write in French.
