Just Like Family Home Care Vancouver is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced
Operations Manager / Community Health Manager
to lead our team in delivering exceptional in-home care and community support services. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of client care, and supporting a positive and collaborative environment for both caregivers and clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health services management, community health, or social work, with a passion for helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and comfortably at home.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of home care and community health programs to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
Manage and support caregivers, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, clients, and families to develop and monitor individualized care plans.
Promote client satisfaction through proactive communication, quality assurance visits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide training and mentorship to staff on topics such as client communication, professional boundaries, and best practices in home care.
Monitor and analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and client outcomes.
Participate in community outreach and partnership initiatives to raise awareness of available home care services.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Health Administration, or a related field (Master's degree an asset).
Minimum 3 years of experience in community health, home care management, or a related leadership role.
Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate client care in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of BC home care standards, community resources, and health system navigation.
Proficiency with data tracking, scheduling, and client management software (experience with AxisCare an asset).
