Operations Manager

to help lead the charge in day-to-day job management and execution.

Role Overview:



The Operations Manager is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring all jobs--from service calls to full renovations--run efficiently, safely, and on schedule. You'll manage people and projects, oversee materials and timelines, communicate with vendors and clients, and help JK Construction maintain its reputation for reliability and quality.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the full lifecycle of construction jobs--from planning to execution and completion. Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure daily productivity and accountability. Manage scheduling and logistical planning for multiple projects simultaneously. Monitor quality control, proactively address deficiencies, and issue change orders as needed. Ensure all work meets required safety standards and technical specifications. Procure and manage materials efficiently to keep jobs moving forward without delay. Liaise with clients, third-party vendors, inspectors, and trades to maintain seamless communication and job flow. Track job progress, establish and monitor milestones, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on target. Be the point of escalation for job site issues, problem solving in real time with authority and diplomacy. Understand and apply budgetary and dollar threshold approvals; prioritize jobs based on business needs. Maintain documentation using tools like Google Docs, Jobber, and other job tracking software. Embrace AI tools and evolving technology to increase efficiency and streamline operations. Be available after hours when necessary to support urgent matters or unexpected challenges.

Requirements:



Proven experience in construction operations, project management, or site supervision. Strong understanding of residential and commercial renovations, including service call protocols. Valid driver's license; ability to drive company vehicle and tow trailer when needed. Clear criminal background check (police clearance required). Comfortable managing a wide variety of tasks and teams across multiple job sites. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. Exceptional communication and leadership skills; able to delegate with respect and clarity. Familiarity with project tracking tools like Jobber and productivity platforms like Google Docs. Strong grasp of construction logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and safety standards. Capable of making decisions under pressure and pivoting quickly when plans change. Proactive in setting expectations and maintaining quality control across all phases of work.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
