As the Operations Manager, the candidate is expected to manage end-to-end business operations for Seed & Stone and Songhees Cannabis. End-to-end operations include but not limited to driving sales and working closely with marketing, HR, inventory departments, CXO's and other stakeholders as applicable.
The Operations Manager is expected to come with an entrepreneurial mindset with a talent for driving business growth and creating value. Reporting to the COO, the candidate will play a key role in executing the strategic plan and be responsible for both the numbers and the people in our business - meaning you are accountable for all operations and people-related activities at the stores.
As Operations Manager, you will:
Oversee Store Managers and store operations including but not limiting to sales, marketing, merchandizing, deliveries, ordering, inventory control and customer support
Execute strategic plans in alignment with the company's goals
Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness across the store
Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve operational performance by working with the HR department
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
Lead and mentor a team of store managers, budtenders, inventory specialists and other employees working out of the various stores
Should the situation arise, step in as needed to cover shifts when budtenders and store managers are both unavailable
Be hands-on in day-to-day store operations and assist store staff in overcoming operational constraints
Travel across stores on a regular basis and work out of stores as needed
Discipline employees, if necessary
Coach managers and provide the necessary tools to engage with and retail employees proactively
To be successful in this role, you have:
Proven experience in a senior operations role in the retail industry
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and drive operational excellence
Strong leadership skills with a focus on servant leadership
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
High integrity and the ability to earn the trust of key stakeholders
Commitment to long-term goals and the future success of the business
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
