Do late crews and messy job sites drive you crazy because you take pride in professionalism and keeping things running smoothly?
You are relentlessly organized, calm under pressure, and the go-to person who makes things happen. You thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling schedules, crews, materials, and shifting priorities without missing a beat.
We are looking for a rare individual. Someone who can command the trust of crews, earn the respect of ownership, and confidently run the day-to-day operations of two fast-moving businesses: Garden City Groundskeeping (GC) and Toronto Artificial Grass (TAG).
This is not a cushy desk job. You'll be managing $3.25M in annual revenue across landscape construction, maintenance, enhancements, turf installs, and snow removal. You'll work closely with the field and management teams to keep projects on track, crews moving efficiently, clients satisfied, and operations humming. If you're sharp, detail-oriented, and not afraid of a little pressure, we want to talk.
About the Companies
GC and TAG are separate companies but operate as a tight-knit team with a shared leadership team.
Garden City Groundskeeping
focuses on landscape maintenance and snow removal.
Toronto Artificial Grass
specializes in turf installs and landscape construction and also acts as a turf supplier.
We're proud to serve commercial and residential clients across the GTA. What sets us apart is our commitment to execution; clean sites, tight timelines, efficient crews, and high-quality results.
Our owner, John, sets a high bar. He's hands-on, transparent, and expects the best from his team. The right person will not only be comfortable with that, they'll thrive in it.
If you're someone who takes pride in doing things right, appreciates clear expectations, and values a leader who notices the details, you'll enjoy working with John.
Who You Are
You're highly organized and detail-oriented; your calendar, inbox, and files are always under control.
You're confident in managing crews, scheduling, solving problems, and keeping work on track.
You can handle pressure and competing demands without getting flustered.
You're great with software: you understand CRMs, spreadsheets, and scheduling platforms.
You're quick to follow up, fast to adapt, and rarely drop the ball.
You understand the realities of construction and landscaping. You know that plans change and crews need clear direction.
