About the Role:
As an
Operations Manager
at our
Markham fulfillment center
, you will lead one or more critical warehouse functions--whether Inbound (Receive, Stow, Replenishment, Quality) or Fulfillment (Pick, Pack, Ship)--and ensure smooth execution of day-to-day operations. You'll be accountable for safety, performance, process compliance, and associate engagement across your area.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for those with a strong foundation in warehouse operations and a passion for leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee execution of one or more warehouse functions (Receive, Stow, Replen, Quality, Pick, Pack, Ship) depending on business need.
Ensure team compliance with safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage productivity, quality, SLA targets, inventory accuracy, and space utilization.
Lead and develop a team of associates through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Create and execute daily shift plans based on volume forecasts and labor availability.
Support cross-functional projects, including new merchant onboarding and systems rollouts.
Identify inefficiencies, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
Maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or 3PL operations with proven leadership responsibilities.
Expertise in warehouse operations and processes--Inbound and/or Fulfillment.
Track record of driving safety, productivity, and quality through team leadership.
Strong working knowledge of WMS/OMS systems and data-driven decision making.
Committed to associate engagement, team development, and inclusive leadership.
Continuous improvement mindset--experience with Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work alternate shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
