Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. (ECML) is a Calgary-based company offering complete helicopter fleet management support to operators since 1975. We offer purchasing, selling, leasing, maintenance, and overhaul of helicopters in the global marketplace.

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

The Operations Business Analyst will report to Finance and Operations with a primary focus on managing multiple cross-functional KPIs that will bring alignment and coherence within the organization. The role will entail continuous monitoring of existing business process flow, accumulation and review of work order data, managing the linkages within company utilized maintenance software, and driving continuous improvement strategies to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness. This is a strategic role designed to bridge gaps between Sales, Operations and Finance by integration KPI framework and this role will extend to multiple business units within Eagle and associated entities. Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop, Champion and Lead Change Management Initiatives. Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from across organizational departments to enhance the overall value, outputs, and efficiencies of the Maintenance Management software (Corridor) system. Be a conduit between Finance and Operations to better support the Controller and CFO regarding Financial Risk Management and Protocols. Liaise with the Finance department to ensure that labour costs rates remain current in Corridor for accurate labour margins. Manage the Linkages within Maintenance Management software (Corridor) to ensure correct flow of a job from quoting to production and ensure the associated set up is accurate as per the defined guidelines. Coordinate with the Project Management and Technical Records Teams to ensure that set up of the initial quotes and additional work requests are correctly entered and trackable within the work order. Create and manage a work order management template to monitor labour hours associated with MRO Operations for Maintenance, Avionics, Structures, Paint, shops and other Support areas. Coordinate with Sales, Logistics and Finance to update the Pricing King on an annual basis and assist in allocating the corresponding pricing structure with the associated customers. Owning, generating and sharing weekly and monthly reports on various measurable KPIs and drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and high performance. Generate reports that highlight work order variances that can be analysed by Project Management and Operations to conclude how to best mitigate the impact to the project and margins. Generate and maintain trend analysis reports for various data points. Report on weekly Operational performance with a focus on hours used to hours remaining and a projection to project completion in addition to reporting monthly on projected MRO revenue and costs. Report on On-Time-Delivery (OTD) based on the OTD tracker in addition to assisting with any work order related issues or questions that might arise during or after a project has been invoiced. Other operational finance requirements as needed to support Eagle Copters Ltd and the O'Reilly Holdco Group of Companies.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:

Proven work experience, a minimum of 5 years, as an Operations Business Analyst or a similar role. Experience in Manufacturing and/or Service Operations industries such as heavy equipment, aviation or energy. Large capital asset management experience favorable particularly in a global setting with complicated supply chain and logistics that span international borders and multiple time zones. Strong analytical skills, initiative, and ability to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures. Advanced knowledge of business applications including Microsoft Office, Oracle Client and Adobe. Experience using value stream mapping and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) software. Requires broad knowledge of business flow, manufacturing and repair and overhaul processes and procedures. Proven relationship building and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Understanding of technical writing and documentation. Demonstrated team orientation, motivation, and flexibility. Strong decision-making skills Ability to coordinating with multiple departments for a common goal. Ability to work overtime when required. Must be able to secure, pass and maintain a Transport Canada Aviation Security clearance. Post-Secondary Education in Business, Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics is considered an asset.
