  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, be based near Lloydminster.
  • Have your own truck to use for work requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering/Environmental would be ideal but not required.
Engineers from other disciplines with experience in a similar role will be considered.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in managing a field team of 5+ resources that are a mix of employees, field contractors and digital tools.
  • Field Operations experience is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Safety, Asset, Regulatory, Environmental, Workover and
Completion programs.
  • Lean thinking and cost reduction/optimization experience needed.
  • Asset acquisitions experience needed.
  • Asset decommissioning experience nice to have.
  • Proficiency in asset management and operation.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to drive assignments forward safely.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project..
As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.- 2 -For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidateThe following experience is not required; however, would be considered an asset:
  • Knowledge of Site View, Production related tools would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable ASME, API, and SBB codes and regulations is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with technology adoption, instrumentation, process improvement and asset.
  • Knowledge of general pipelines, equipment, cold production, heavy oil, regulatory requirements, and standards a must.
  • Experience with managing a diverse set of vendors, contractors, employees, landowners, and partners.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Local knowledge and experience with all vendors, landowners etc in a way that is known to be positive.
As our field level role, the Field Manager Lloyd based is the face of the company in the field and must represent the values, safety principles, vision, and mission.In general terms, the Field Manager Lloyd based will:
  • Be responsible for all company and field related safety programs for projects and operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that practical approaches to initiatives, projects, change management from the field perspective are factored into and implement.
  • To Drive and Deliver on our production, safety, engagement, people, environment, asset, project performance targets levering your team and other collaborators to get it complete on time.
  • Manage all aspects of Company operations that include but not limited to employees, scheduling, efficiency, cost control, preventative maintenance, revenue opportunities and inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve Company performance.
  • Monitor Company performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.
  • Responsible for appropriate staff levels to meet requirements of the Company.
  • Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations and performance management.

  • Develop and manage business relationships and customer contacts.
  • Manage the morale in the Company by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers.
  • Enhance and develop processes and practices to meet the goals of the department.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality service in the Company to exceed customer expectations.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Monitor financial performance to ensure the Company is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment.
  • Analyzes and reports on the Company's key performance indicators and industry/market trends.
  • Develop and implement strategies around improving the financial performance of the
Company.
  • Analyze employee and customer concerns and present options to solve their issues.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that employees, contractors, and vendors are adhering to the policies and practices in place.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement opportunities are identified and where appropriate acted upon.
  • Be responsible for employees and field contracts ensuring that they are working together as a team, where operational, resources and technological tool can be put in place to align to our operations digitization efforts, safety, environmental and balancing the workload with the right level of resources.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all operational activities and projects that are asset related are completed on time and on budget from inception to benefit realization.
  • Look for opportunities to engage with our stakeholders in a different way via safety, environmental, collaborative projects, and local community activities.
  • Manage the tasks of a Foreman and Site Supervisor for AB and SK operations of the
Revitalize Assets as per the performance-based business plan working with peers to enhance production, remediate sites and manage the long-term viability of the site.
  • Work with Managers and field team ensure that we have end to end solutions to managing our assets for their full life examples would be preventative maintenance programs, cost reduction initiatives, benefits are being realized on time.
  • Ensure that company, regulatory and worker safety programs are in compliance and in place for the field.

  • Participate in HAZARD identifications, risk mitigations, process reviews, resource balancing (technical, IT, people and tools) for the seasons and to scale as we look to grow with drilling and acquisitions.
  • Be a liaison and project manager for initiatives that are field related. Including technology implication and/or industrial partnerships.
  • Ability to take on coverage for holidays for field team working on production, projects, and decommissioning.
Permits/Certifications. The employee will provide the Company with the following documentation and updates before they expire. This information and key contractor information will be kept in
Complyworks going forward after implementation.
  • Safety tickets such as H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance.
  • Proof of Insurance for Vehicle and General Liability.
  • Other document as needed for regulatory, insurance, or work safety needs.
Performance ManagementThe performance of the Field Manager Lloyd is evaluated annually and is based on the carrying out of duties and responsibilities as outlined above including achieving strategic planning goals, fiscal responsibility, compliance to policies & practices, acting as an ambassador of the values of the organization, and building strong relationships externally and internally including the committees. An annual evaluation will be led by the Sr Engineer & Production Manager as this is a key contracted role to the company.....Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $125,000.00-$135,000.00 per yearFlexible language requirement:
