Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team full-time in our North York office. This role plays a key part in managing logistics workflows, optimizing shipping processes, and supporting supply chain reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Request and evaluate LTL (Less Than Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload) freight quotes. Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels. Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of both inbound and outbound shipments. Prepare and submit export documents such as CUSMA certificates of origin, commercial invoices, and B13 forms. Set work priorities and delegate tasks to warehouse staff to ensure efficient shipment flow. Update inventory records to reflect stock movement and maintain accurate inventory levels. Implement inventory control strategies to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and supply chain performance. Analyze operational data and conduct weekly reviews with the operations manager. Provide performance feedback to the warehouse team on order accuracy and processing times. Generate forecast reports for the purchasing team to anticipate future product and supply needs.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain roles. Strong working knowledge of shipping workflows and customs documentation. Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, forecasting models). Comfortable working across teams (Purchasing, IT, Warehouse, etc.). Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to improve processes. Comfortable with tools like Sage 300 (ERP), and Microsoft Excel (reporting, dashboards, forecasts)
