Summary
This role presents an excellent opportunity for experienced retail operations professionals, ideally with a background in community pharmacy, to advance their careers while supporting Pharmasave's continued growth and profitability.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic and operational initiatives through effective communication, process implementation, reporting, and program execution. They will collaborate closely with the Operations team, store owners, and managers to enhance operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.
Location
This position is primarily office-based
. Our team currently operates from our Markham office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days. Conducting some store visits in Ontario is a requirement of this position, having a car is required. The organization retains the right to adjust this hybrid arrangement, potentially requiring more frequent office attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to Territory Managers to ensure the smooth running of territory activities
Coordinate communication between the Territory Managers and store, ensuring they are timely and comprehensive
Act as a resource to the Operations team by responding to general inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate
Track progress on operations and marketing initiatives and projects, flagging delays and assisting with action plan completion
Arrange logistics for Operations training meetings (scheduling, sending invites, coordinating virtual meetings on Teams platform)
Conduct store visits as required to support implementation of all Pharmasave programs
Prepare and distribute internal communications, reports, and presentations
Maintain and update data, records, and electronic filing systems
Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
Support cross-functional collaboration between departments, including administrative support
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Competencies:
Retail experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with POS operations and business reporting is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with employees across all levels and departments
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Exceptional organizational skills and adeptness at managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
Salary
Base salary, Annual Bonus and RRSP programs, comprehensive benefits package, mileage for travel to stores, and flexible work hours.
