to join our team and help streamline shop operations while supporting our technicians, management team, and valued customers.

Position Overview

As the Shop Operations Coordinator, you will oversee daily shop functions, manage workflow, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. This position combines administrative, operational, and customer-facing duties, making it ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Open and close the shop daily in line with safety and security protocols Coordinate daily shop activities, job scheduling, and resource allocation Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Manage repair orders, service records, and job tracking Communicate with customers, suppliers, and vendors professionally Support parts ordering, inventory management, and invoice processing Conduct shop safety inspections and maintain health & safety documentation Assist with onboarding/training of staff and facilitate toolbox talks Occasionally visit customers and collaborate with management on strategies to grow business opportunities Represent the company with professionalism, both during and outside of work hours, when acting on its behalf

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in a shop, service, or operations role (automotive, trucking, or industrial preferred) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Knowledge of occupational health & safety standards Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and make operational decisions Valid driver's license preferred
