Full-time, Monday-Friday starting at 7:00am

About Us

Custom Contracting Inc. has been serving the Greater Toronto Area since 1999. We're a multi-location home services company specializing in roofing, siding, eavestrough, windows, doors, and HVAC. We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team and keep our production running smoothly.

What You'll Do

Dispatch crews every morning - hand out work orders, answer questions, make sure trucks are loaded and crews get out the door on time Schedule jobs 2-3 days out across multiple crews and confirm materials are ready Create work orders for new jobs and repairs Process customer payments (e-transfers, cheques, credit cards) and enter them into QuickBooks Online Review and approve subcontractor invoices weekly Coordinate with our sales team on new contracts and job details Answer calls from crews throughout the day to problem-solve on jobs Handle customer communications - scheduling updates, delays, and resolving concerns Order materials and coordinate with suppliers Keep our job boards and tracking systems up to date

Who You Are

You've worked in a construction, roofing, HVAC, or trades office before - you understand how crews and jobs work You're organized and can juggle multiple things at once without dropping balls You're comfortable with technology - QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, scheduling software, email You can stay calm when the phone's ringing, crews are calling, and emails are piling up You show up on time and take ownership of your work You're a problem-solver, not someone who waits to be told what to do

Requirements

Experience in construction or trades administration (roofing, siding, HVAC, general contractor - any of these work) Reliable transportation to our Brantford office Comfortable working on a computer most of the day Strong communication skills - you'll talk to crews, customers, and suppliers daily

Pay: $39,293.15-$55,874.27 per year
