We are looking for detail-oriented reservation agents to join our team in helping to continue to set the benchmark in the industry. If you are starting in the hospitality industry but are not quite sure what career path you want to take on, or if you have had experience with a lot of different jobs but want to scale down, this position could be for you! As our Operations Coordinator \xe2\x80\x93 Administrative Support you will mostly work behind the scenes to support our Vancouver team and our Tour Directors/Cruise Liaisons on the road. Your job is about assisting all members of our team, especially in the delivery (and retrieval) of tour/cruise documents and packages in a timely fashion. THE ROLE - Based in Vancouver, BC Tour Operations Support:

  • Assist all members of the team with the prep of Tour and Cruise tour documents
  • Pack and ship Tour/Cruise boxes in the most efficient and cost effective way
  • Monitor, document and retrieve returned packages and documents
  • Track lost items (in North America) and work to reunite them with owners
  • Assist the Director of Operations with dealing with guests who need assistance while on tour
Office Management:
  • Greet and monitor all visitors to the office (Crew, Suppliers, Service Providers etc)
  • Monitor and order office and tour supplies as needed during the season.
If you wish to gain experience dealing with guests or vendors, you will have the opportunity to do so by working side by side with other members of our team, in particular at the Airport, Cruise Ship Terminal etc. ABOUT YOU
  • Highly organised, detail oriented and with good problem solving skills
  • Enjoys the challenge of multitasking, prioritizing, working under pressure and in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Able to communicate professionally with people of all ages and all backgrounds
  • Able to work independently & to be part of a team
  • Excellent with computer skills, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledgeable about tourist destinations in Canada and Alaska and North America, and of APT/Travelmarvel Products there
  • Some overtime and other week-end work might be required on occasion.
This is a seasonal position (March to September) with the possibility to return the following year (or for the position to become permanent, based on business levels) making it ideal for someone who wishes to travel or simply has other projects in the off season.
