Position OverviewThis position is responsible for monitoring the issuance and settlements of Letters of Credits, Documentary Collections, remittances. Daily settlements of money market and foreign exchange transactions. Responsible for the processing of new currency/interest rate swaps and monitoring the daily rate settings/settlements of existing swaps. Also responsible for monitoring the daily incoming and outgoing funds to ensure Nostro accounts reconcile to internal systems.Role Description - FOX/OBS

• Checks and verifies daily settlements to ensure accuracy of details.
• Monitors the daily cash reconciliation between Treasury and the G/L in order to rectify immediately any outstanding item(s).
• Checks and verifies transactions input by Treasury in FOX and OBS
• Closing of FOX and OBS
• Checks and verifies interest rate swaps, currency options and financial future transactions input by Treasury
• Process BDN\'s, T.Bills, and Reverse Repos
• Process/verify new swaps, rate setting and interest settlements of existing swaps.

PROFILE

• Create, Review / approve transactions in Profile

SWIFT / MONTRAN

• Monitor with Business Promotions/Treasury Departments for non-receipt/failed settlements of funds.
• Create, Verifies or approves and release payments in Montran and SWIFT.

LOAN IQ - TRADE FINANCE

• ll relevant activities for Trade Finance products by complying to UCP rules and bank regulations.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Checks and verifies monthly settlements of brokerage fees.
• Checks the daily rate upload.
• Testing for system enhancements and upgrades
• Acts as back-up in the absence of the other team members.
• Monitor outstanding Treasury Bills.

Back up for pick-up/delivery of CD\'s, settlements and daily bank statements.Qualifications and SkillsKnowledge: Letters of Credit, Payments, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Money Markets.CDCS Certification preferredExperience: 5 years\' previous related working experience in a banking/financial institution specifically in the Trade Finance & Payments functions.Skills: Good understanding of Canadian Payments Association Rules, UCP Rules for Letters of Credit and Collections. Sound knowledge of derivatives, financial instruments, syndicated loans, banker\'s acceptances.
