The position at a glance

The Human Resources Operations (HR COO) is responsible for the design, development and implementation of HR operational services for North America. The COO teams drive efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance for all HR operations, technology, vendor governance and project management.

Within the HR Operational Permanent Control (OPC) team, the Operational Risk Analyst works extensively with all BNPP CIB US and Americas HR teams to develop enhance and monitor the HR control framework. The HR Operational Risk Analyst will coordinate the deployment, promotes the continuous improvement of HR controls and monitors their execution. They will also collaborates with non-HR teams such as Transversal OPC team and Risk ORC team, as well as, with HR of Bank of the West.

In detail

  • Ensure execution of BNPP Group HR control plan, as well as, local controls and waivers :
  • Monitor the execution on an ongoing basis of all HR controls identified in the control plan;
  • Ensure appropriate action plans are developed and implemented to improve processes, prevent operational risk incidents and mitigate the key risks.
  • Contribute to and enhance the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for HR, ability to challenge and conduct negotiations with leaders from various functions (Risk, Compliance, TPRM).
  • Be exposed to HR Management and Senior Management for regular presentations on Risks and Controls.
  • Assist HR teams on operational risk matters (audit related queries, etc.).
  • Act as primary liaison between HR and local/global OPC teams.
  • Promote best practices in terms of operational risk management (such as enhancement of Control & Risk trainings and awareness sessions for HR).
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports (Business Continuity Plan, HR OPC dashboard enhancements).
  • Develop projects (automated dashboards partnering with H/R Data Analytics & Insights team revisiting management reports and metrics in liaison with 1LoD and 2LoD across CIB Americas and Group, etc.).

TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent education/experience/training
  • Knowledge of HR processes
  • Knowledge of the banking industry
  • Analytical and project management skills a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
ESSENTIAL SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of English is required
  • Ability to operate autonomously
  • Ability to be well organized and to be multi-tasking
  • Ability to work as part of a multicultural team
  • Ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and to be client-oriented
  • High proficiency on Excel particularly with dashboards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and Power Point)
