We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Breakfast Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for opening the restaurant, working alone, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, with
experience
in both serving and cashiering within a quick-service or fast-food restaurant environment. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
You must like to start your day off early as the shifts will be starting at 6:30am. This is a 3 day a week position, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We 100% are willing to give to give more shifts if that is what the right candidate is looking for!
Duties
Able to start your shift at 6:30am and get all the tasks done before opening
Greet customers warmly and take food orders accurately using POS System
Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and providing change to customers.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring all areas are sanitized.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices at all times.
Assist with inventory management and stock supplies as needed.
The ability to work alone
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred, with a focus on food service roles.
Familiarity with POS systems highly desirable.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are essential.
Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
.
