Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food preparation, serving, and cashiering duties. This role requires a strong focus on food safety and sanitation, as well as the ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately. Prepare food items according to restaurant standards while ensuring proper food handling practices. Operate the Micros POS system for processing transactions and managing orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices are followed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment in accordance with health regulations. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and protocols to guarantee a safe dining environment.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential. Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Micros POS, is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor toward guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 35 per week
