What we offer

In keeping with the Mattamy mission of providing the Best Homeowner Experience, the Online New Home Specialist is responsible for promoting Mattamy's online advertising campaigns, compiling VIP lists, speaking with and preselling prospective homebuyers on the features of our homes and communities, setting appointments and interfacing with the Realtor community in order to generate strong customer leads and ultimately increase sales.

What you'll do

  • Achieve appointment and sales-related business goals.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and customer inquiries; provide information on community amenities and home features.
  • Follow-up with online prospects via phone and email, including responding to inquiries, matching prospects to appropriate product and qualifying prospects accordingly in order to set appointments with Sales Consultants that ultimately result in home sales.
  • Leverage our customer relationship management software to manage lead communication, track activities and plan lead interactions.
  • Understand call flows and maintain answer rates.
  • Record, review, and send relevant video emails to prospects.
  • Communicate with leads via live chat platform on demand to answer questions on communities, product and pricing.
  • Manage client VIP lists -- add clients to the list, keep them up to date on community openings, invite them to the VIP event(s), take RSVPS/set appointments and staff/attend the VIP events.
  • Utilize all available sales and marketing resources in order to achieve the sales goals for the communities assigned.
  • Engage in Mattamy's defined selling process to deliver effective sales presentations. Actively seek to close prospective customers by asking multiple closing-related questions during presentation, including confirmation of appointment to meet with Sales Consultants.
  • Sell the reputation of Mattamy, the features and benefits of our communities, and the quality and design of Mattamy's products, construction, and service. Understand the power of Mattamy's brand and the unique customer value proposition in assigned communities.
  • Attend sales meetings, regularly travel to Mattamy's onsite communities and foster relationships with sales staff to stay knowledgeable about product offerings as well as our competition.
  • Facilitate regular communication with the sales leaders and the marketing team to ensure understanding of division sales goals and upcoming projects.
  • Meets all reporting deadlines to produce data and reports on a regular basis related to lead activity and sales conversion ratios. Evaluate trends and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make adjustments/suggest enhancements that may be needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive research of local market competition and online marketing campaigns to gain insight into market trends.
  • Perform all necessary follow-up and resolve any customer issues or problems to ensure customers keep their scheduled sales center appointments and have a seamless hand-off experience to the Sales Consultants.
  • Actively participate in prospect traffic driving efforts. Assist marketing and sales teams by creating targeted emails to address specific sales or business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring
  • Minimum two years of previous sales, marketing or public relations experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is desired; Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator knowledge is helpful.
  • Experience in Construction or Home Building industry is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated customer focused orientation.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and planning skills.
  • Strong computer savviness, with intimate experience with social media platforms.
  • Able to multi-task and manage time well with minimal supervision.
Bonus points
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a suitable combination of work experience and education is an asset.
