English360

is a Toronto-based online language school that recently expanded to include French in our course offerings. We are currently seeking an experienced French language tutor to teach both children or/-and adults in one-on-one or small group settings (up to six students).

We are especially interested in candidates with experience preparing students for

TEF

and

TCF Canada

exams. We're looking for someone who is very friendly and reliable, able create a positive engaging environment at the lesson. Respond if you're passionate about teaching and committed to student success eager to sharing your expertise.

We are currently hiring for

evening sessions after 6 PM EST

occasional weekend mornings

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience with Zoom and confident with Zoom interface and annotation tools Solid knowledge of French grammar and clear pronunciation Experience teaching French and creating personalized lesson plans Familiarity with the

Canadian school curriculum

and

French exams for immigration

(e.g., TEF, TCF) Ability to set up and adjust programs to meet students' goals and timelines Ability to work with both kids and adults in private or small-group formats Owns a collection of teaching materials or is able to create/adapt them Confident using

AI tools

to keep lessons current and tailor them to student needs Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quality audio equipment

We provide recommendations and methodology trainings if required to ensure high teaching standards. Instructors are required to conduct well-prepared lessons.

To start the interview process, you'll be asked to send a short introductory video of yourself along with your resume. The second step will involve an interview and a demo lesson with the successful candidate.

Additional Information

Probation period: 3 months (may be shortened based on student results and commitment) Hours will increase gradually during the first month
