Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a French Tutor at FOCUS Educational Services Inc. The French Tutor will be responsible for providing online and/or tutoring sessions, assisting students with developing their reading and comprehension, writing, and literacy skills. Tutors will be tutoring students from grade JK to university. While the role is primarily located in the Greater Toronto Area, flexibility for some remote work is available.

Qualifications

Must have an OCT license (or other teaching licenses from Canadian provinces/territories) OR must be working in their field of study for over 3 years. Must have a university have proficiency certificate in French (DELF, TEF, TCF, or have completed a major or minor in French) Must haver a Canadian Bachelor's degree. Must haver a Canadian High School diploma. Must have at least 3 years of experience in tutoring Must be familiar with the Ontario school curriculum Strong communication skills Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences Excellent time management and organizational skills Patience and empathy when working with students Must be available on: Mondays (5 pm to 9 pm), Thursdays (7 pm to 9 pm), Saturdays (1 pm to 5 pm), and Sundays (3 pm to 8 pm) We are open during longs weekends and holidays and we expect our tutors to be able to work during those days.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
