Team Overview
The Cross-Industry and retention Marketing team contributes to the development of strategies to retain and engage our existing customers. The Onboarding and Renewal Marketing Manager supports post-purchase marketing programmes that help customers deploy, manage, use, and renew their Autodesk subscriptions. By keeping our customers satisfied and we not only increase revenue but also strengthen our brand reputation. The success of our team is measured by overall customer retention\xe2\x80\x94subscription renewals and account growth.
You will report to Senior Manager Retention Marketing. You will be #LI-Hybrid/Remote in Canada.

Position Overview
You will work with the Lifecycle Marketing team on two important aspects of the customer journey: onboarding new customers and ensuring the successful renewal of existing customer contracts or subscriptions. You will collaborate with partners in customer-facing roles to inform the development of content strategy and will deliver relevant, impactful, and engaging onboarding and renewal content to help maximize customer lifetime value and foster long-term relationships.

Responsibilities


  • Audience Analysis: Understand the target audience\'s needs, preferences, behaviours, and demographics is a fundamental step. This helps in creating content that resonates with the intended audience

  • Goal Definition: Ensuring content strategy aligns with defined our goals, such as driving adoption, increasing renewals, improving awareness, or educating the audience

  • Message/Positioning: Creating customer-facing foundational messaging/positioning\xe2\x80\x94vetted with important partners\xe2\x80\x94that resonates with the audience

  • Content Planning: Determining what types of content (e.g., articles, videos, infographics, social media posts) are for the defined channels, such as websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and more. This also involves deciding on the tone, style, and messaging. Establish timelines and ensure on-time delivery

  • Content Delivery: Create content internally or with the help of an agency

  • Content Calendar: Create a schedule for publishing content to ensure consistency and timing for reaching the target audience

  • SEO and Keywords: Incorporating search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and keywords to improve the discoverability of content in search engine results

  • Content Governance: Establish processes for content creation, review, and maintenance to maintain quality and consistency

  • Performance Measurement: Work with Lifecycle Marketing to track and review the performance of content, including metrics like page views, click-through rates, engagement, and conversions. This data helps refine the content strategy over time

  • Iterative Improvement: Analyse the data and feedback to refine and improve the content strategy, ensuring that it stays aligned with our goals and audience needs

  • Collaboration: Collaboration with several teams, including lifecycle marketing, customer success, customer support, and experience design. You will collaborate with these teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience


Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or business administration

  • 7+ years\' experience developing global marketing campaigns for a large company

  • Experience influencing large, global, teams from planning to execution

  • Translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly language


Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of customer needs and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences are important

  • Familiarity with multiple marketing channels, such as email marketing, content marketing, and customer engagement platforms

  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and data analytics software will be beneficial

  • Changing customer needs and market dynamics is crucial in onboarding and renewals marketing

  • Collaboration with teams and departments is important to succeed in this role
