We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated sales and marketing professional who is passionate about the tourism industry and creating unforgettable guest experiences! The Wilson\xe2\x80\x99s Group of Companies is a locally owned and operated ground transportation and tour company serving Victoria, Vancouver Island and Vancouver. In operation since 1962, we are a trusted provider known for our exceptional service, transporting groups large and small from one destination to another \xe2\x80\x93 safely and on time. With over 140 vehicles we offer charters and rentals for all types of groups and events, from small elite tours to large conferences. In addition, we also operate Gray Line Sightseeing Victoria, and the BC Ferries Connector services. The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and implementing the company\xe2\x80\x99s action plans related to sales and marketing while assisting and supporting the development of public relations strategies to promote the organization\xe2\x80\x99s mission and purpose. This department provides sales and marketing services to all lines of business within The Wilson\xe2\x80\x99s Group of Companies, as well as communication and engagement with external parties, for the benefit of the whole Company. A large part of this role is supporting the B2B travel trade sales including attendance at trade shows, relationship building and business development activities on Vancouver Island, in the Lower Mainland, and in Central Canada.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Experience working in the travel or tourism industry, with understanding of tours and transport. Min 3 years sales experience, preferably in the travel and tourism industry. Marketing experience strongly preferred. Organized, with a strong attention to detail, and ability to muti-task. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as needed to support guests and partners. Ability to travel when needed, expected travel 5-10%.
