We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser, 40 hours per week for the territory encompassing Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, and Toronto.

You will work independently, to ensure success for your region. This individual will work/travel in their territory managing inventory for top retailers to maximize sales opportunities. In addition, you will be supporting the merchandising of the products and leveraging your strong in-store relationships.

The company is a leading cosmetic, perfumes and hair care supplier based in Montreal however you will work in the GTA!

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of attendance and reliability. This is a permanent opportunity starting in October. Candidates must hold a G class license and have a clean driving record.

Advantages
- $45,000 - $50,000

Responsibilities
-. Executing client retail priorities including but not limited to product distribution maintaining and shelf detailing

  • Building and leveraging strong store management relationships
  • Providing regular merchandising support-maintain shelf
  • Preparing and submitting required reporting on a daily basis
  • Providing feedback and insights that will help provide opportunities to help grow the business
- Manage territory of 250 stores across the GTA
- Record stock inventory on an iPad
- Train clients on the process of ordering new stock

Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in retail or merchandising sector
- G license and vehicle is mandatory
- Customer Service experience
- French speaking is considered an asset but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Able to maintain a professional demeanor with the public and store personnel when performing your duties
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Good understanding and comfortability in using various reporting information and computer skills (Excel)
- Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
