Job Level NV-11

As an investment risk officer, you assist with highly complex strategic initiatives and serve as subject matter leader.

You lead and influence large-scale organizational and market initiatives while liaising with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges. In addition to being the business manager, you represent your specialty on initiatives requiring high-level expertise in a complex field.

You\xe2\x80\x99re responsible for strategic, highly innovative, cross-sector projects and initiatives that are operationally and conceptually complex. They require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. A strategic mindset and organizational savvy are therefore essential. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields.

You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert for senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience

  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
Specific knowledge
  • Upper intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
