Office Manager - Permanent - 18055About the OpportunityOn behalf of our client based in Nepean, we are seeking a dynamic Office Manager to support a growing team. This multifaceted role requires a hands-on approach to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the office, providing administrative and operational support to the team. The successful candidate will enjoy free, onsite parking and a comprehensive benefits package.Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing daily administrative operations to ensure smooth workflow and maintain operational excellence
  • Coordinating and scheduling internal and external meetings, seminars, and training sessions
  • Managing travel arrangements, including booking transportation, accommodations, and itineraries
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for office maintenance, repairs, and space management
  • Ensuring proper functioning and maintenance of office equipment (e.g., photocopiers, printers, telecommunications)
  • Providing support to various departments with documentation, data entry, and administrative tasks
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of office events, meetings, and team-building activities
  • Liaising with staff to facilitate communication and maintain smooth operations
  • Occasionally handling general administrative tasks, such as answering calls, processing mail, and managing deliveries
About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:
  • Degree/Diploma in business, administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional business setting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, SharePoint)
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic role
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset but not required
About the JobThis is a permanent, full-time position offering $60,000 to $65,000 annually, dependent on experience.
